PrekeyiTawari-Fufeyin, Ph.D

PrekeyiTawari-Fufeyin, Ph.Dhails from Asamabiri town, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

In 1994, she got her Doctorate Degree in Hydrobiology & Fish Biology (Dissertation on Environmental Toxicology & Pollution Studies) from the University of Benin. She bags a Master degrees in Hydrobiology & Fish Biology and Health Planning & Management from the University of Benin (1988 & 1999 respectively). In 1983, she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Zoology also from the University of Benin.

Over the years, she has written many articles both published and unpublished. Her research interest is centered on Environmental Management & Toxicology, Waste Management, Pollution Studies, Aquatic Biology and Community Development.

She has held various positions and has served as a lecturer in different Higher Institutions of Learning. Currently, she is the Director of Institutional Linkages, Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

She is happily married and blessed with children.

As part of her contribution to national and community service to mention but a few, she is the Founding Editor, Tropical Journal of Environmental Science and Health and also served as a Resource person in Fish biology, Fish and Aquatic toxicology and Liminology for various Consultancy groups.
